WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS

MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF DAILY

EXERCISE (with doctor’s clearance)

*Daily at least 20 to 30 minutes/ day.

GET ADEQUATE SLEEP

*At least 7 to 8 hours sleep per night. 

EAT HEALTHY/ STAY HYDRATED 

*Not high in sugar/ fat/ salt.

*Drink adequate water daily.  (Consult doctor.)

DON’T ISOLATE 

*Phone or video chat a friend and/ or family

*Go out to eat with friends and/ or family. 

READ/ LISTEN TO BOOKS

*Read the book with a friend. 

*Start a book club.

LISTEN TO YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC

*Go to a concert. 

GO TO THE MOVIES

*Enjoy a good movie and escape. 

*Go with friends and family.

*Laugh! 

PRAY/ MEDITATE EACH MORNING

*Ground/ Center yourself in peace so you can face the challenges the day may bring.
